Industry leaders, policymakers and global experts will converged at the CII's Gems & Jewellery Conference – “Future Forward: Innovation & Sustainability of Indian Jewellery” at Hotel Le Meridien, New Delhi, to deliberate on the evolving future of India’s jewellery sector.

The conference will focus on key areas including India’s gold economy, growth of natural and lab-grown diamonds, sustainable recycling practices, circular economy, responsible sourcing, digital transformation, and the impact of AI in jewellery manufacturing and retail.

The event’s Chief Guest, Ms Nidhi Khare, Secretary, Department of Consumer Affairs, Government of India, will address policy direction and consumer trust initiatives, while the Special Address will be delivered by Shri Sanjeet Singh, Senior Advisor, NITI Aayog, highlighting India’s strategic roadmap for the industry.

An eminent panel of leaders from leading organisations such as World Gold Council, GJEPC, De Beers Group, MMTC PAMP, Natural Diamond Council, IGI, Indriya Jewels, Derewala Industries shared insights on global trends, innovation, sustainability and market growth.

"The mandatory hallmarking of gold has become a game-changer for the industry and recently, hallmarking of silver artefacts has also been initiated. - Nidhi Khare, Secretary, Department of Consumer Affairs, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Govt of India said speaking at the conference.
