Senco Gold and Diamonds reported its highest-ever retail sales in October, registering revenue of more than Rs 1,700 crore. The jewellery retailer achieved a 56 percent year-on-year growth, driven by strong festive demand during Diwali and Dhanteras. Gold sales value increased by 60 percent, while diamond sales grew 32 percent compared to the same month last year.

Despite gold prices reaching a record Rs 132,294 per 10 grams on October 31, the company reported growth across categories, with volume up 4 percent in gold, 5 percent in diamonds, and 8 percent in silver. The increase was attributed to new collection launches and steady customer footfall across its nationwide network and digital platforms.

“These record numbers reflect a very positive customer sentiment indicating which way the graph will go in the months to come. We are fully prepared to meet the strong demand in the upcoming wedding season and through Q3 and Q4. Our teams are committed to constantly launching exciting new designs as per customer preference across India. We are rigorously working on ensuring operating leverage, enhanced EBITDA, and improvement in Inventory Management to enhance Return on Capital Employed (ROCE) and Return on Equity (ROE),” said Suvankar Sen, Managing Director and CEO.

For Q1, Q2, and the first month of Q3FY26, the company recorded a 25 percent year-on-year retail value growth, including 19 percent Same Store Sales Growth (SSSG). During October, Senco expanded its network with three new showrooms taking its total retail footprint to 185 stores in India and two in Dubai. In its accessories segment, Senco operates eight Sennes showrooms.
