Safa Group announces major expansion in Saudi Arabia Aligned with Vision 2030

Safa Group, a leading name in the gem and jewellery industry, has announced a significant expansion into Saudi Arabia. The announcement was made at a prestigious forum held at Voco Jeddah Gate, attended by industry leaders and key officials from Saudi Arabia’s gem and jewellery sector.

Key Saudi gem and jewellery organizations pledged their support, agreeing to collaborate with Safa Group in areas including retail, wholesale, manufacturing, design, research, and education.

Officials highlighted that the initiatives, designed in alignment with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, will serve as a catalyst for innovation and growth in the jewellery sector. These projects aim to contribute to the Kingdom’s economic diversification strategy by fostering high-value collaborations and driving development in the luxury industry.

With over 35 years of expertise in the gem and jewellery sector, Safa Group emphasized its role as a key player across the entire value chain—from retail and wholesale to manufacturing, education, and research. This strategic expansion is set to accelerate the Group’s global growth plans. By integrating Saudi Arabia’s rich cultural heritage with contemporary innovations, the collaboration aims to provide new opportunities for local artisans and businesses, strengthening the Kingdom’s position as a global hub for Jewellery craftsmanship.

Speaking at the event, Safa Group MD K.T.M.A. Salam, Global Operations Head Abdul Kareem, and Saudi Associate Partner Shaikh Ali Salih Batherfy Al-Kindy underscored the Group’s vision of contributing to a thriving, innovative, and sustainable gem and jewellery industry, both within Saudi Arabia and internationally.

This expansion is not just a business venture but a significant step in supporting the Kingdom’s ambitious goals of building a dynamic and diversified economy, in line with Vision 2030. Safa Group’s commitment to excellence and innovation ensures it is well-positioned to contribute meaningfully to this transformative era in Saudi Arabia.
