A rare 10-carat blue diamond from South Africa drew global attention at Sotheby's $100 million diamond exhibition in Abu Dhabi. The gem could fetch $20 million at auction in May.

A dazzling rare blue diamond took center stage on Tuesday at a prestigious exhibition in Abu Dhabi, showcasing $100 million worth of the world’s most extraordinary diamonds.

The Sotheby’s display featured eight exceptional diamonds, collectively weighing over 700 carats, captivating visitors in the United Arab Emirates' capital.

However, visitors focused on the 10-karat blue diamond from South Africa. Hailed as one of the most significant blue diamonds ever unearthed, this extraordinary stone is expected to fetch a staggering $20 million at a Sotheby’s auction in May, according to the Associated Press.
