Inaugural function of GJS takes place in the presence if Chief Guest Pankaj Bhoyar Minister of State for Home (Rural), Housing, School Education, Cooperation, and Mining. Govt. of Maharashtra, along with Paul J. Rajesh Rokde, Chairman, GJC says, "We are planning to make Gold Cluster as it will help small jewellers to get acquainted with new technology as it will help ease in doing business and learn more about new technology. Today India offers affordable gold jewellery than Dubai and is set to become the most preffered affordable jewellery hub in times ahead. We request the government to support our industry and I wish all the best every participants."

Saiyam Mehra, Convener, GJS, " Local retailers from rural Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Karnataka should be given opportunity participate in the show to help boost their business. We are expecting to sell 25 tonnes gold jewellery and expecting a record-breaking business of Rs 35 000 Crore."
