Bhima Jewellery inaugurated its Second Madurai showroom in Anna Nagar, Tamil Nadu on 31 August 2026, bringing its century-old legacy of trust and craftsmanship closer to one of the city's fastest-growing neighbourhoods. The showroom was opened by South Indian Actress Preethi Mukundan in the presence of Bhima Jewellery’s Managing Partner Sudhir Kapoor, Partner Deepa Kapoor alongside their son, Aksh Kapoor.

The new space has been designed to reflect a brand that is "a hundred years young" — blending Bhima's deep-rooted heritage with a contemporary, welcoming retail experience. It offers an extensive range of jewellery, from bridal and diamond collections crafted in the finest South Indian tradition to lightweight everyday gold and modern designs for younger buyers.

Speaking at the launch, Mr. & Mrs. Kapoor expressed that the 2nd Madurai Showroom at Anna Nagar represents Bhima's continued commitment to Madurai — the city it has called home for 02 decades. Rather than an expansion for the sake of numbers, they described it as a way of coming closer to the families who have trusted Bhima across generations, while welcoming a new generation into the fold.
