BDB Scripts History, Record Breaking Response to Blood Donation Drive

Bharat Diamond Bourse (BDB) scaled a new peak in its recent history, recording its largest ever collection – a monumental 801 units of Blood – during a single-day blood donation drive held on June 17, 2026 within the complex.

Responding to a special appeal from five premier hospitals and blood banks, who stressed that the city was facing a severe shortage of blood, members of BDB, GJEPC, MDMA, cardholders, employees, trade partners, industry stalwarts, government officials, volunteers, and supporters all came forward with immense enthusiasm and commitment to participate in the drive. "When Humanity Called, the Diamond Fraternity Answered — This Time with 801 Extraordinary Reasons to Hope."

Among those who volunteered were senior government officials Indraveer Singh, Deputy Commissioner – Precious Cargo Customs Clearance Centre, BKC and Jayesh Prabhakar Jadhav, Assistant Commissioner – Precious Cargo Customs Clearance Centre, BKC.
